Mesut Ozil unfollowed Fenerbahce on his social media accounts. After being informed that he would not be playing for the team under new manager Jorge Jesus.
After unfollowing Fenerbahce on social media in response to remarks made by the new manager Jorge Jesus, the former Germany international’s football career seems to be coming to an end.
The former Arsenal playmaker joined the Turkish giants in January 2020 after being shunned by Mikel Arteta and having his contract torn up in North London. There are still two more years on his deal.
After having a public argument with Ismail Kartal, the Portuguese coach’s predecessor, Ozil has already been labeled as having “had his time” by new Fener manager Jorge Jesus. Due to this, Ozil’s agent, Dr. Erkut Sogat, asserted that the former Germany international would give up football after his time in Turkey and turn to gaming.
The 33-year-most old’s recent of his 37 games, in which he has scored nine goals, took place in March, and it is now clear that he will not be a part of their future plans. He had his time and space, according to his new employer Jesus. No one can take away from him his lovely past in Turkey.
He is a well-known player all around the world. But I’ll pay close attention to how the Ozil era ended. The most significant factor in this place is Fenerbahce, and it is from there that I develop my ideas and attract the players I work with.
In response, Ozil unfollowed the Istanbul club’s social media pages, the most recent sign that he will never return to Fener. But he still has two years left on his contract.
Would Fenerbahce Ever Regret letting Ozil Leave.

The agent for Ozil, Sogat, recently discussed his client’s future plans in an interview with The Telegraph. Sogat remarked, “I suppose he won’t play football at any other club any longer. I don’t see it happening; it will just be Fenerbahce. He will play himself in more esports and perhaps turn into an esports athlete. He’s really extremely excellent at Fortnite, so I wouldn’t be shocked if he started participating someday. He has players on his squad, M10 Esports, which he owns. His gambling establishment is in Germany. He has Fortnite and football games like Fifa.
Sogat continued: “I think he wants to finish his career in Turkey, he always desired it,” in an exclusive interview with Mirror Football. He may yet do anything at Fenerbahce or in Turkey, in my opinion. He has made himself at home there with the family and is content to stay there.

“At this time, I don’t see him leaving that club and moving somewhere. It may have been done before the switch to Fenerbahce, but I assume not anymore. However, with football, you never know.
Ozil, who won the World Cup with Germain in 2014, has already declared that he will be concluding his playing career at the Turkish giants, calling his choice “clear and decisive.”
